| Section 3: Staff Experience |
Have you held a staff position on any server before?:
Yes, during most of my 5k hours on Garry's Mod I played on a server called GarnetGaming. During my years on that server I climbed the staff ranks twice, reaching Senior Admin the first time and Manager/Director the second time.
What responsibilities did you have in those roles?:
When I was Admin the first time I directed the Operator Division which handled ban appeals, staff applications, and suggestions/balancing. During my time as Manager I oversaw the entire server, development, GMs, Admins, and Moderators. I was the main active member of Management and planned dev work with the Owner/Dev of the server. Although I did not hold either position for very long due to burnout I did significantly impact the server with both of my roles. Firstly by changing how the admin team viewed balancing and allowing the players to properly request kit changes without feeling like it was a lost cause. Then again when I took Manager by being the only person in management who could make the tough calls like removing underperforming COs, Admins, and even 2 battalions. Decisions that were hard to make but led to server growth by consolidating the player base into smaller but stronger groups.

A player is mass RDMing during peak hours. What steps do you take?:
First I would freeze the player before teleporting them away from everyone else. I would check the logs and ensure I have all the correct evidence before pushing forward the punishment(s) fitting the player’s offenses.
A player accuses staff of bias in public chat. How do you respond?:
I would link them the correct channels to report a staff member(s) and urge them to fill out the form if they feel they've been wronged. We can't expect everyone to agree with us or each other, which is why it's important the community has a higher team to dish out fair punishments to players and staff alike.
You witness another staff member breaking our rules. What do you do?:
I would first subtly notify them that they might be doing something the wrong way. If they do not acknowledge the error in their ways then I would record the incident and send it to their lead privately.
