▲ Valyrian Network Server Rules ▲

When playing the server at any time, you're expected to follow the rules.

★ Server Rules ★

• 1. This server is classified as "Semi-Serious RP" meaning you can break character at times while at 10 or below active players & when no activities are going on. During situations such as Passive RP, Civilian Interactions, or Events, you're expected to remain in character.
• 2. Be respectful towards all players & staff.
A. Toxicity will not be tolerated.
B. Harassment of players will not be tolerated.
C. "Witch hunting" of a player isn't tolerated.
D. Hate speech, racism, and or discrimination is strictly forbidden.
• 3. Ensure to keep all IC & OCC separated, including Discord, unless it's declared an "RP" channel.
A. Do not meta game. Using outside information that you wouldn't normally get via RP to your advantage.
B. This includes using knowledge from another whitelist.
C. Players may not use visual door ownership indicators (such as door labels or HUD elements) to determine who owns a property. Ownership information must be obtained through roleplay, such as accessing an in-character database, records terminal, or conducting a lawful investigation. Co-owners are strictly out of character information and may never be used in roleplay under any circumstances. Within RP, players may only identify the primary owner of a property; co-ownership does not exist in character.
• 4. Keep voice and text chat clear, no micspam or unnecessary noise.
• 5. When dealing with a Staff Situation, you're expected to be honest.
A. Do not spam staff tickets when requiring staff.
B. Do not waste a staff member's time.
• 4. Do not cheat/exploit in any form. This will result in a permanent ban.

Roleplay Rules ★

• 1. Do not RDM without a valid RP reason.
A. Inner Circle may execute anyone under their sector for a valid reason.
B. Protection detail units may KOS (Kill on Sight) if their protectee are attacked.
C. Royal Guards, Inquisitors, Death Troopers, and Blackhole may KOS if attacked.
D. Tresspassers entering locations such as: Fortress Inquisitorius & Imperial Palace may be KOS.
• 2. If you're going to do "rogue RP," your character will be subjected to a PK (Perma Kill). You may only do this type of RP once a week, and a gamemaster+ must be involved to be valid.
A. You must build up this RP via in-game overtime with quality RP.
B. Lore characters CANNOT do this type of RP. Special Events may exempt this, though.
• 3. NLR (New Life Rule) only applies to the following situations: Bank Robbery and House Raids.
A. 3-minute NLR applies to civilians/criminals in general.
B. Imperial Forces responding to a Bank Robbery have a 2-minute NLR. While the robbers only have one life
C. Imperial Forces responding to the Regional Government Vault robbery have a 3-minute NLR. While the robbers only have one life.
D. Both parties in a House Raid have only one life.
• 4. Tactical Inserts cannot be placed in roleplay areas such as: Debrief, Brig, General City areas, and homes.
A. Do not destroy another player’s tactical insertion unless they are disconnected or it’s in a restricted area.
A. Civilians / Criminals / Outlaws are not allowed to use Tact Inserts.
• 5. /advert is to be utilized by Commander +
A. This can be used for tryouts by a SGT+.
• 6. Shock & ISB may enter any bunk or restricted area when pursuing an active AOS (excluding Imperial Palace).
• 7. Master Adept I+ may Force Choke disrespectful or attacking friendlies, but may not kill them.
• 8. Security clearances are only nullified during Defcon 1, not including Level 6 restricted areas.
• 9. When flying at all you need permission from Navy and follow proper protocols for ATC.
• 10. Royal Guards, Death Troopers, & Inferno Squad can see cloaked targets.
• 11. Sitting / Standing on people's head.
• 12. Using lore character names are forbbiden unless you're on a lore character whitelist / assigned based on your job.
• 13. Do not use misuse your loadouts / equipment.
A. Stuns should only be used on Imperial Personnel / Civilians running and never in a gun fight.
B. Stuns cannot be used on Event Characters. This can be exempt by a Gamemaster.
• 14. No ERP (Erotic Roleplay)
• 15. Bounty Hunters may not spam contracts to kill players. All contracts must be reasonable, deliberate, and properly roleplay justified. Bounty Hunters are prohibited from soliciting contracts. They may not approach, pressure, ask, or encourage players to place bounties on others. Civilians or third parties must initiate contact with a Bounty Hunter of their own accord. Bounty Hunters may not accept a bounty on the same individual within 30 minutes of previously targeting that person, regardless of who issued the contract. This is to prevent farming, harassment, and abuse of the bounty system.
• 16. Loophole Abuse / Rule Circumvention
A. Players may not exploit unclear wording, unintended mechanics, or missing rules to gain an advantage. Actions that follow the text but violate the intent of a rule will be treated as a rule break
• 17. Roleplay Eligibility Requirements
A. Main roleplay is only considered valid when 20 or more players are online and no event is currently in progress. Players may not force others into roleplay if they do not wish to participate. Additionally, all parties involved in the roleplay must be active and not AFK.

Roleplay Rules: Character Lives ✪
• 1. You may have up to three (3) different character lives on the server.
A. Army Sector (Optional – 1 Life Max)
Includes: 501st Legion, Nova Troopers, Shock Troopers (and all of their subdivisions)
You may only join ONE main battalion within the Army Sector.

B. Naval Sector (Optional – 1 Life Max)
Includes: Imperial Navy, ISB, Inferno Squad, Death Troopers (and all of their subdivisions)
You may only join ONE group within the Naval Sector

C. Miscellaneous Sector
Includes: Royal Guards, Darkside, Shadow Collective, Regional Government (and all of their subdivisions)
These groups are separate entities.
You may join multiple Misc groups, or even place all three lives within the Misc Sector if desired.
• 2. You may not hold more than one XO+ (Executive Officer or higher) position at any given time.
A. Lieutenant of the Guardsmen + count as XO+ position.
• 3. Players may not hold more than one lore character position listed below at any time.

Roleplay Rules: Fear RP ✪
• 1. You must act as if you only have one life at all times.
• 2. When faced with overwhelming numbers (3+), you are expected to surrender and immediately cease all hostile actions. This doesn't apply when dealing with NPCs.
A. Fear RP doesnt apply for the following groups: Naval Special Operations Forces and Royal Guards. Event Jobs may be exempt from FearRP as well.

Roleplay Rules: Chat ✪

Roleplay Rules: Bunk Inspections ✪
• 1. Naval & Regional Government may call Bunk Inspections, all forces within the Garrison must report to their bunks.
A. Shock & ISB may be exempt from this to hold up security for the inspection if asked by the Naval or Regional ahead of the inspection.

Roleplay Rules: Arrest on Sight ✪

• 1. NCOs to Senior NCOs may do an RAOS (Request an Arrest on Sight) via comms with the name of the trooper & reason.
A. Shock Troopers of any rank outside of a Trainee may grant it.
B. Officer + of any battalion may grant it as well.
C. ISB is exempt from this rule.
• 2. Officers + may put an AOS (Arrest on Sight) via comms with the name of the trooper & reason.

Roleplay Rules: Interrogation RP ✪

• 1. ISB, NSO, Inquisitors, and Royal Guards have KOS Perms.
• 2. Inquisitors & Naval Special Ops must hold all interrogations within the Shock Troopers Brig.

Roleplay Rules: Medbay ✪

• 1. All medical personnel reserve the right to remove individuals from the medbay for a valid reason.
• 2. Medical personnel may order personnel with CL 2 and below, regardless of rank, if it pertains to a medical situation within the medbay.

Roleplay Rules: SIMs ✪

• 1. PvP Simulations are allowed, but before fighting, an advert must be sent for SIM Active.
• 2. SIMs may only be held in the SIM Room. Gamemasters + | Admin + may hold SIMs in misc areas if decided so.
• 3. SGT+ may claim the SIM Room. You must /advert [Battalion] Claim the SIM Room.
A. Inner Circle can overtake a SIM Room with a valid reason.
B. Before claiming the SIM Room, be sure to check if the room was claimed before in /comms.
C. You can only claim the SIM Room for 40 minutes max. Extra time can be given by High Command + with a valid reason.

Roleplay Rules: Briefing | Debrief ✪

• 1. PTS is active at all times during a Briefing / Debrief
A. High Command + may break PTS with a valid reason
B. Shock Troopers may break PTS with a valid reason
• 2. Navy may take full priority of a Briefing / Debrief
3. You should be saluting at all times unless told at ease by the host or the highest-ranking officer
A. If Emperor Palpatine is present, you should bow (crouch) until told to rise.
B. If Darth Vader is present, you should stand at attention until told otherwise.
4. You may leave a debrief once dismissed by the host
A. If Emperor Palpatine is present, no one should leave at all until told otherwise by him.
B. If Darth Vader is present, no one should leave at all until told otherwise by him.
C. Excused by a Commander +
5. When handling promotions, no one should say "go up one" or so. When promoting, you state the full rank they move up to.
