Shock Commander Thire

How well do you know this character's lore?: 

Before Commander Thire achieved his rank of Commander, he was a Shock Lieutenant who assisted Jedi Grand Master Yoda with the mission to Rugosa, where Yoda and King Katuunko sought alliance with the Republic. After a while in the Clone army, and once Order 66 was announced by Emperor Palpatine, his Shock Troopers including him would hunt down Jedi Grand Master Yoda. He would also assist in capturing Jedi Librarian Jocasta Nu and Commander Fox was killed for having his men shot upon Lord Vader. Before which, his troops and himself would be the security detail to find Lord Vader burnt up and recover him. Commander Thire would be the personal guard to Palpatine during the transition from the Galactic Republic to the Galactic Empire, his Shock troopers would be responsible for the security of the capital and for Emperor Palpatine when he would go off planet or on Coruscant. This is everything I can do without using the internet. 

What experiences do you have?: 

I do not have much experience as Commander with any Star Wars RP servers. This would be my first time ever holding a position of power within any Battalion. I understand this would discourage some about my competence, but I am willing to learn and adapt to the rank of Commander. The way of learning is to actually do the job. I plan on learning and improving my skill as Commander of Shock throughout my career. But, I do have Google Spreadsheet experience in making Rosters & anything needed for Shock. 

Why do you wish to be a Commander?:

The main reason why I wish to be Commander of Shock is that leadership is more than holding a rank, but leading those below you. And, It would be my duty to keep my Shock Troopers in line. I want to bring Shock to be the best of best and help increase the Roleplay with other Battalions and with Civilians. 

What are your plans as Commander?:

1. Chain Code system

• I plan on creating an Imperial Chain Code system to keep an actual identification on Citizens of the Empire, instead of just rolling for identification for roleplay purposes. I would implement a Roster to keep in order of these Civilians IDs. I plan on ISB and Shock to be using this Roster to increase RP between ISB, Shock, and Civilians. 

2. Increase cooperation between Battalions

•  My second plan as Commander would be to increase cooperation's with other Battalions with Shock. Like, if there are any events being hosted for certain Battalions to assist with and, Shock is a part of this event, I would want my Battalion to be prepared to work with any Battalion. 

3. Increased rule enforcement by Shock

•  I would try to help enforce the Shock Penal Code upon Civilians & Imperials troops. And, enforce strict discipline through Coruscant. As I have noticed some individuals in other Battalions act unprofessional, undisciplined, or “mingy”. I believe this needs to be correct and I think I would be capable of changing that around and keeping the base on Coruscant to the book. 

How would you improve the roleplay of the Battalion/Group?:

Search Warrants with ISB

• I first would hold joint training sessions with ISB to further help with relations between our Battalions and make issuing warrants in the Underworld or Uppercities more smoothly.

Building confidence within Shock

• Finally, I would let NCOs take charge of small tasks like leading patrols or running checkpoints. This helps them build confidence and get better at roleplay. When troopers feel trusted and involved instead of just being given orders, the unit feels more active, realistic, and fun to be part of.

Communication with Shock & other Battalions 

• I believe communication with Shock and other Battalions is the most important duty as Shock. I would want my Shock Troopers to be professional, keep messages short & mission focused, avoid communicating over others, and follow proper chain of command. 

How active can you be in this position?:

My timezone is Eastern Standard Time and I currently can play during the weekdays and weekends. During the weekdays, I can play from 12 PM - 9 PM but will depend on how the server is. During the weekends, I can play from 10 AM - 11 PM as during the weekends I am free for the whole day. But, if I am out of game, I am available 24/7 out of game. 

Are you able to Ground Command when needed for Events?:

As I said before, I am inexperienced with leading as Ground Command but I am willing to learn and improve my skills as Ground Command.
